BenchMark Special Stains Liquid Coverslip is a prediluted coverslip solution used as a barrier between the aqueous reagents and the air. This barrier prevents evaporation, thereby providing a stable aqueous environment for the special stains reactions carried out on a VENTANA BenchMark Special Stains automated slide stainer.
BenchMark Special Stains Liquid Coverslip may also be used as a deparaffinization agent in cases where microorganisms or cellular structures are not compatible with the BenchMark Special Stains Deparaffinization Solution. In these cases, BenchMark Special Stains Liquid Coverslip will be automatically applied by the BenchMark Special Stains automated slide stainer.
This product is designed for use on the BenchMark Special Stains automated slide stainer. This reagent is not to be used on the VENTANA BenchMark, BenchMark GX, BenchMark XT or BenchMark ULTRA instruments or NexES Special Stains automated slide stainers.
This reagent is intended for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) use.
