VENTANA Special Stains Steiner Staining Kit is intended for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) use as a qualitative histologic silver stain to aide in the identification of the causative organisms of diseases such as some gastric ulcers (H. pylori), Lyme disease, Legionnaire’s disease, cat scratch fever, and others in formalin fixed, paraffin embedded tissue.
This product should be interpreted by a qualified pathologist in conjunction with histological examination, relevant clinical information, and proper controls.
