PAS Staining Kit is intended for use as a qualitative histologic stain used to demonstrate the presence of glycogen in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue. PAS Staining Kit detects positive reticular fibers, basement membrane, fungus, and neutral mucopolysaccharides.1 PAS Staining Kit may also be used to aid in distinguishing a PAS positive secreting adenocarcinoma from an undifferentiated PAS negative squamous cell carcinoma.
This product should be interpreted by a qualified pathologist in conjunction with histological examination, relevant clinical information, and proper controls.
